I found this part from CMP's website, and I'm glad I did. It's a nice union and I expect it will work very well.

However, the website description seems to be lacking. It's a union between PVC (the white part) and fiber reinforced polypropylene, instead of CPVC. This is a good thing as most pump housings are the same material. Maybe the nut is CPVC?

Finally, SPSUSA didn't mention this part is designed to be a 2" spigot PVC fitting as well, so you can put a SCH40 2” coupler or sweep 90 directly into this union. emphasis on SCH40, or smaller, so the nut has room.
